transfer case upgrade kit

Today we've got our '06 LBZ Sierra (Project Street Max) back on a lift to address a known failure point on Duramax-powered Bow Ties and GMC's...

We're installing one of Merchant Automotive's transfer case upgrade kits to avoid a hole in the rear housing due to pump rub. It's great preventative maintenance for your 2500 or 3500 HD, and basically all four-wheel drive GM vehicles built from '98 to '07.

Another preventative maintenance measure we're taking care of, is adding one of Merchant's rear housing supports for the transmission. Available for '01 to '07 Allison 1000's, this brace can keep the housing from cracking if the truck develops a driveline vibration or a U-joint checks out.

These upgrades are timely, as we may be hitting the drag strip with Project Street Max soon...
