What have diesel prices spiked to in your neck of the woods?...
In central Illinois, the new, jacked up price is ranging between $3.85 (at one station) and $3.99 (at most others). Just a couple weeks ago we saw prices as low as $3.69, so the 30-cent hike is definitely noticeable—and hurting the wallet.
Soon we'll be heading to Indiana in our '05 Jeep Liberty. Hopefully we can pull some miracle mileage out of the little CRD to help us out with fuel costs. We'll limit our mph to 65, tops, and go back to accelerating slowly... At least the wind will be at our back heading over...
