We've found that, for the most part, dragstrips appreciate the variety the diesel trucks bring to the table. Locally, our tracks are more than happy to see diesels joining in on test-and-tune nights. Of course there are some tracks that aren't as friendly toward the diesel crowd. To a certain extent, and because four-wheel drive trucks with aggressive tires (mud terrains, etc) can tear up a track, we understand this. Still, when diesels are welcome they usually show up in droves to participate. Who knows, in a down economy it might be in a track's best interest to host 'diesel nights' (or the like) every once in a while. We recently found out firsthand that if you ask them, they'll come.
